San Francisco-based photographer, Alex Cornell recently captured stunning photos of a flipped iceberg in Antarctica. Experts say the iceberg could be over 100,000 years old.
Alex Cornell spotted this rare occurrence in Antarctica’s Drake Passage in December 2014. Icebergs are traditionally white, but the one Cornell spotted had recently flipped over and had this incredible terrestrial Bluish/Black hue to it.
