Coat Check Chair by Joey Zeledón

The design simply appropriates the plastic hangers and the steel closet rod from a standard closet and creates a chair from those elements, turning the closet inside-out.

This great concept by industrial designer Joey Zeledón - The idea is to bring these items out into the open to be seen and thus remembered on a daily basis. The chair could be great for house parties or just daily routine. Coat Check also has the potential to be used in women’s clothing boutiques, helping with dressing room organization.

The plastic removable hangers and the steel closet rod are the only elements that are necessary for this little project. You have to put the plastic hangers over the steel tubular frame and you can say that you have created a real seat.
