McLaren Announces a new 650S: The Le Mans

McLaren’s 650s Le Mans limited edition celebrate 20 years since legendary F1 GTR won in the 'Le Mans 24hr race', coming in a incredible 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 13th. McLaren's Special Operations division have pulled out all the stops to create 50 limited editions... Probably all sold in minutes.

The car will feature numerous performance and cosmetic upgrades to reflect the spirit of the F1 GTR - a roof mounted air intake (like the '95 cars) feeding air to the unchanged 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 (641bhp 60 mph in 3 seconds and to a top speed of 207 mph)

Car will be fitted with a carbon fibre front splitter, rear bumper, subtle louvres on the front wings and Airbrake, plus MSO-developed extended side blades and rear diffuser.  Finished in a metallic Sarthe Grey exterior paint colour. Inside, the 650S Le Mans is finished in leather and Alcantara, and features race inspired seats with Le Mans logos stitched into the headrests.

The new McLaren 650S Le Mans will be available globally, and deliveries are expected to begin by mid-2015 at approx $370k US
